First of all , I would like to thank you for spending your precious time reading my blog
Secondly ,, The title may be a little miss leading
One day I was in my friends car driving through the crowded roads of our beloved Egypt
I kept watching the behavior of the people in the street . I have noticed couple of things
1. drivers are stupid 2. Pedstrains are more stupid
nobody respects the rules the traffic lights nor the others
Car drivers wish to run down the Pedstrains, and the Pedstrains wish to walk in the middle of the street closing their eyes
I told my friend what I have noticed.
He replied sarcastically " THIS IS EGYPOLOGY"

ده بقى منهج عام
إنك تعمل اللى انت عايزة فى الوقت اللى انت عايزة فى المكان اللى على مزاجك
يعنى واحد مثلا مزاجه يعدى الشارع وسط العربيات

على قد ما حياتنا ماشية جهجهونى هنا فى بلدنا
على قد ماحنا بنلغى النظرية دى بره
يعنى لما نفس الشخص اللى بيمارس رياضة الجرى وسط العربات ده
لما يطلع بره
مش بيعرف يمارس الرياضة دى خالص
و مايقدرش مزاجه فى مرة كده يهف عليه و يدفعه لممارسة هذه الرياضة بره مصر
............
و فى الإخر نسأل و نستعجب إحنا ليه متأخرين
"نعيب زماننا و العيب فينا, ما لزماننا عيب سوانا"

انا مش هنسي راجل كان في منصب كبير .. كبير اوي .. كنت قاعد باتكلم معاه و احنا بنصطاد سمك و بنقول اي كلام هايف و جه سيره القانون ... تصدق ... الراجل ده ... المسئول ده المحترم ده
قال لي القانون اتعمل علشان نخترقه
شفت بقي ... لما الكبير يقول كده احنا نعمل ايه !!؟
جرب تركب المترو او الاتوبيس هتعرف يعني ايه الناس بتحترم اوي بعضها و كيف يمكنك أن تحافظ علي ادميتك بشكل رائع

دى احد و ليس كل مشاهد التخلف الحضارى اللى إحنا غرقانين فيه
فى الفيلم الشهير يقول "هى دى مصر يا عبلة" ولكنى أريد أن أقول "هى دى مصر ياهبلة" والهبلة هنا هى كناية عن أدمغتنا اللى مش عايزة تصدق التخلف اللى أصبحنا فيه

Yeah, it's me who said sarcastically "This is Egyptology"!!
Unfortunately, we changed the meaning of the word Egyptology from its original meaning to the 21st century meaning. Watching Egypt now, Can anybody believe that 7000 years ago, we were the great pharaonic Egypt, the mighitest nation on Earth ?!!!
It is such a shame that we are now in 2006, showing the world how nasty our country is and our life is. Ask anyone you know, if he/she is proud to be Egyptian ?? I reckon i would be so, maybe, 50 years ago.
I really hope we can get back Egyptology to its original meaning, but i have something in my mind telling me "in your dreams !!"
